"I devote 100% of my time and energy to my clients….." This is a quote from my mission statement which is very important to me and you, my clients because I work only by referral. What does that mean? Here is my mission: Most loan officers spend 80% of their time looking for new business to make ends meet. What I do differently, as your Mortgage Consultant, is devote 100% of my time and energy while at work to my clients so that you get my undivided attention and dedication to every detail. My mission is to ensure a smooth, understandable and positive experience during AND after the loan process.  I am Tammy Wink Gallego and I want to be your Mortgage Consultant for life. I came to work for California Mortgage Consultants (or CMC) in March of 2003. I was personally trained and mentored by our broker, Nancy Gardner. Working in the real estate industry came as a natural career choice for me because I grew up in this industry. My Dad was a realtor and my Stepdad and Grandpa are developers in commercial and residential real estate. I graduated from college with a degree in Communications but after I found myself spending my weekends going to open houses for the "fun of it", I decided to get my real estate license. Having worked at Wells Fargo to support my college tuition and loving mathematics while growing up, I decided to use my license to work in lending. For a short time I worked as an assistant to a loan officer at National City Mortgage. Being more of a leader than a follower, I wasn't happy simply assisting. Nancy offered me a job as a Mortgage Consultant with CMC and the rest is history! After beginning my career in San Diego, where our corporate headquarters are based and where CMC has a very strong name, I decided to spread our wings north and I opened up our Los Angeles Headquarters. Now I focus primarily on purchases and refinances in and around the Los Angeles area, however we do service all of California. I have built up a strong client base of referrals from real estate agents and clients, as well as my family and friends. My business relies on these referrals, so as stated above in my mission statement, I focus on serving you, my client. My objective is to uncover your goals through open and honest communication, so that I can properly meet your needs in my hunt for the best mortgage for you and WOW you with service throughout the entire process. I will even accompany you to the "signing"! Prior to lending I was a flight attendant for United Airlines working as a Purser on my flights and in charge of in flight services, all announcements and supervising the entire crew. I worked on both domestic and international routes. I also worked as a model for the last 20 years (I still dabble a bit) doing various print campaigns and commercials for companies such as Mercedes Benz, JC Penney, and Lands End Catalog to name a few. I even carried the title of Miss Orange County at one point and came very close to being Miss California (2nd runner up). I guess I needed to work on my wave a little harder! My interests outside of work are primarily tied up in fixing up our first home. My husband and I bought our "project" in May and with a 6000 square foot backyard full of weeds, needless to say we are busy landscaping and fixing all kinds of things. But it's fun and exciting and I couldn't ask for more. In my down time, I love to read all kinds of books from spiritual to educational and sometimes the fun stuff.
